OK, I happened on this by accident and started to read. In response to the soccer mom mini van comments I must say you all seem misinformed. I have an Extended mini van (so I guess I really am in trouble), and I use it in the mountains, at the beach, to haul my kids, their friends, the dogs, and camping supplies. Here is where you are wrong; My van gets 27 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in town. I have regular maintenance and check ups to ensure that emissions are at acceptable levels. I have my oil recycled (as well as my tires). I am not sure what mini vans you refer too unless you are thinking of the older, less efficient ones. No offense, but you might want to check out fuel and emissions data before you lump everyone together! Thanks, Merri
