: Hey, you're making some huge assumption sin your post. Why didn't you ask me why I bought an SUV instead of making this assumption? I bought it because I've been an avid off-roader (rock crawling, mud bogging, offroad trails in state vehicle recreation areas) ever since I was a teenager. I use it for offroading around once a week.
Wouldn't a Jeep suffice? And don't you know what "rollover" means? I means that as an off roader you could end up killing yourself in an SUV because they are NOT safe. SUVs are NOT recreational vehicles... Get a Jeep, at least that way you won't end up stuck in the mud or rolling off of the Appalancian RV trails, down the mountain, and smacking into a tree half way down the mountain killing you and all your passengers...
: Tell me, do you make baseless assumptions about everyone you meet?
Do you ever think?
: Another anti-SUV fanatic bites the dust. This is getting easier.
Seems to me that you have no idea of the actual off capabilities of SUVs nor do you have any idea of physics. SUVs are topheavy. In more lay terms that your pathetically small mind is liable to comprehend; topheavy means they roll over, go boom!
What disturbs me is that the people who get SUVs for large numbers of people have no idea that a station wagon carries just as many people. Those who get them so they can haul their sports equipment like canoes or ski equipment don't understand that the topheavy nature of SUVs makes them so unstable that even WITHOUT all that stuff piled ontop makes them more likely to roll over and kill people. A station wagon is much more stable therefore it can hold more equipment without being as unstable. Finally those that get SUVs for offroad recreation have no regard for the safety of themselves, their passengers, or anybody else on the trails!
