So Truth, you make an argumant that other vehicals contribute to polution as much as SUV's and I'm not going to dispute you on that (mostly because you are incapable of understanding). You have identified several other vehical types as being large contrubitors to the problem, which implies that you do believe that polution due to certain vehical types is, indeed, a problem. In your last instalment to this saga you wrote, "If you really want to target the 'big fish', why not push people to buy more fuel efficient vehicles?" The fact that you have still missed the part of the anti-SUV campaign that in fact does encourage people to drive more fuel efficient vehicals. This is in fact the point of protesting SUV's. I'm sorry you were unable to understand that. Furthermore, if you have developed such a passion for how trucks and mini-vans polute... then perhaps you should begin the anti-truck/van campaign. You are clearly passionate enough about the subject... or are you just trying to share some of the blame for the polutants YOUR SUV produces. Truth, i feel sorry for you. You have recognised polution as a problem and yet you still fight against the very people who are acting in order to help save YOUR world. This is not against you truth... it is against SUV's. I know you're angry and confused, and that you will probably answer this with little, frantic stabs and cuss words. Keep this in mind though, truth, you're really only fighting because someone hurt your pride by pinpointing you as a contributor to a problem. truth, I want to help you help yourself. I love you!
: Your little "brain" has tried to curb my counterargument with a very weakly thought-out idea. I won't let it go that easily, as you probably wish I would.
: Te best selling vehicles in the USA are pickup trucks. These vehicles:
: - pollute as much as SUVs
: - have fuel economy as bad as SUVs
: - are MORE dangerous to other vehicles in accidents than SUVs
: If you really want to target the "big fish", why not push people to buy more fuel efficient vehicles? There are almost as many poser pickups out there now as poser SUVs. Most pickups you see in mall parking lots have nothing in the bed, which seems to be the way you judge whether someone uses their vehicle for its intended purpose or not.
: Similarly, the argument I made about minivans also applies. My point is that you are NOT arguing on principles here. THAT is what I take issue with. If you have a problem with vehicles that are not fuel efficient, where do draw the line and why?
