OCD sufferer here. I thought this would be a good time to chime in. If a car were to come out in a few years (let us call it an SOS) that would guzzle a 1/4 more gas per gallon than an SUV, would it makes sense to ignore this new guzzler and concentrate on curbing today's SUV? Even if there were more SUV's on the streets it would not make sense to ignore the SOS. Common sense should tell you that. I can hear your little brain squirming to retort, "yeah, but the SUV's in total use up more gas than the SOS's. You obviously need psychotic help." Well, you may be right, but one has to go after the big fishes first to curb a toxic problem. DEA officials are aware of this as they know that arresting a crackhead does nothing to rid the streets of crack. They must go after the supplier. In the same vein, it would be pointless to rid the world of SUVs when the SOSs are on the streets. Wouldn't tons of people just buy the fancier SOS?
I don't know why people are always called psychotic when challenging the status quo. If no one ever protested social ills we would be living in darkness. You would never have had the freedom to go out and make the money you needed to buy your overpriced SUV. You would be shocked to learn of the abundance of mentaly ill people who have shaped our world and continue to shape it today. For future reference, don't do that. It's pathetic.

I mourn for you and many, many others who have the lost the ability to think and have turned into reflex machines as evidenced in your knee jerk replies.
